Childrens’ Classes

“Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom.”

– Bahá’u’lláh

Bahá’ís believe that children are the most precious treasure that any community can possess.

The Bahá’í writings attach great importance to the periods of childhood and youth, providing clear guidance to parents and communities to raise children in a nurturing and unambiguous environment.

Bahá’í children’s classes strive to bring forth the “treasures” within each and every child — the nobility and beauty that are part of every person’s inborn nature.

Spiritual and moral education classes are offered locally for children from 3 to 10 years.

If you would like more information on Bahá’í children’s classes, or to attend children’s classes in this area, please contact us.

All those involved in Baha’i children’s classes are required, by the Office for Safeguarding Children of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the UK, to have completed an Enhanced Disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

There is more on Bahá’í children’s classes in an article on the Bahá’í International Community website: Moral and Spiritual Education for the Next Generation.
